verse 36 says: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only, 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be, 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be, 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left, 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left, 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come, 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up, 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
The exact timing of this event is unknown. It will occur suddenly, like a thief in the night. Are you getting ready for that inevitable day? Are you still struggling with a recurring sin that easily trips you up, constantly seeking forgiveness? I want to emphasize that even if you are a born-again Christian, if you are not sharing the message with your loved ones, it will be incredibly painful to witness them facing damnation. Let's be awake from our spiritual slumber and live each day as though Jesus might return at any moment. Some Christians seem more preoccupied with worldly matters than with matters of God, while the forces of evil work tirelessly to ensnare souls and pave their way to hell. It is time for us to prioritize heavenly pursuits over earthly desires. It is now the time for those who have strayed from their faith to come back to Jesus Christ. Sinners, abandon your sinful ways and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. May God grant us the strength and grace to attain salvation? Amen.
